Michelle swiped right, Joshua swiped right, and their story began from there…

Michelle and Joshua met for the very first time at Spero in Mooloolaba on April, 24, 2021. Their banter and questionable humour began instantly with a debate around the pros and cons of daytime naps.

On their second date, two days later, the banter continued, as Joshua greeted Michelle by saying ‘shit you’re short’. Michelle, didn’t wear heels on this date.

One month later on May, 23, 2021 after Michelle met Joshua’s family at a lunch at Noosa Heads Gin distillery they made their relationship offical. Fernando however required a few more months to accept Joshua’s decision.

Their terrible humour and banter continued and on their 1st anniversary, Michelle set things straight providing a journal article that outlined the cons of daytime napping.

The introverted couple spent their time travelling, finding delicious food, drinking rum and red wine while watching trashy TV and exploring their love for books.

A New Zealand wine tour saw Michelle take full advantage of Waiheke islands best wine before telling Joshua she would love a Sapphire.

A few days later on their 3rd anniversary Joshua proposed to Michelle under the Southern Cross at Peak View Retreat. Yes it was a Sapphire!
